Carniceria, (the Spanish word for Butcher), began life as Tindealls the Butchers and, at that time, was known locally for its hot pork pies! The premises then became a cafe bar before emerging as Carniceria and the answer for those seeking the relaxed atmosphere, a fantastic range of drinks and imaginative dishes from the ‘Med.’

Monday – Thursday: 17.30 till late
Friday – Sunday: 12 noon till late...
(*...also all Bank Holidays including Good Friday)

PLUS: ANNUAL HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE:-

Summer School Holidays: open during the day, 7 days per week.

Early July: Holmfirth Artweek,food served all day, every day until 22.00.

August Bank Holiday weekend: Annual Beer Festival with co-owned neighbouring hostelry-live music and revelry!

Holmfirth Food and Drink Festival: 27th and 28th September 2008.
Carniceria will feature an exclusive ticketed event on Monday 22nd Sept, as part of the planned run up to the Festival. This event will be a definite sell out, as it is all acclaimed chef, Owen McPherson, is best at. More details to follow. Also featured over the Food and Drink festival weekend is a cocktail making session with special cocktail for each customer (afternnon of 28th) in Carniceria, as well as concessions over the weekend and special taster menu. Wine and tapas tasting will be going on outside Carniceria all weekend, with live Paella making demonstrations, which can be ordered fresh and made in front of you.

In The Nook, a special Safari Grill will be taking place, featuring crocodile, ostrich and many more exotic fayre. The Nook will feature a real ale tasting session and a `Meet the Brewer` special, with the opportunity to find out a little about the brewing process and ask questions of a suprise acclaimed local brewer.

Holmfirth Artweek dates:
6 - 12th July 2008. We are featuring the art of acclaimed artist Susan Brown again this year and are open all day every day of the festival for full menu, tapas, light lunches, sandwiches and dinner.
